He used to fast all of Shaban.\u201d (Al-Bukhari, Muslim, At-Tirmidhi, Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Nasa\u2019i)<\/p>\n<p>Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that Prophet (peace be upon him) was asked:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhich fast is the most meritorious <a href=\"http:\/\/www.new-muslims.info\/featured\/ramadan-raining-with-mercy\/\">after the fasts of Ramadan<\/a>?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He replied:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFasts of Sha`ban <a href=\"http:\/\/www.new-muslims.info\/featured\/how-did-prophet-muhammad-prepare-himself-ramadan\/\">in honor of Ramadan<\/a>.\u201d (At-Tirmidhi)<\/p>\n<p>So, what is special about this month?
