Prayers of the Pious (11): Don\u2019t Punish a Tongue of Praise<\/p>\n

Today\u2019s du`a’<\/em> from Imam Ibn Al-Jawzi encourages us to do good<\/a> and to share knowledge<\/a>, then invoke Allah (Exalted be He) with our good deeds in prayer.<\/p>\n

“My God, do not punish a tongue that informs about You, nor an eye that looks upon (Islamic) sciences which point to You, nor a hand that writes the traditions of Your Messenger. So by Your honor, do not admit me into the Fire.”<\/p>\n
