Surah At-Tin ( The Fig ) - Aya count 8
بِّسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ ﴿١﴾
By the fig and the olive[1],
وَهَٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ ﴿٣﴾
and by this secure city [of Makkah][3],
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍۢ ﴿٤﴾
Surely We have created man in the best form[4],
ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ ﴿٥﴾
then We will reduce him to the lowest of the low[5],
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۢ ﴿٦﴾
except those who believe and do righteous deeds; they will have a never-ending reward.
فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ ﴿٧﴾
Then, what makes you deny the Judgment Day?
أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ ﴿٨﴾
Is not Allah the Most Just of all judges?
